Speedball Underglaze, Turquoise

Description

A great line of underglazes with rich color and versatility.  Formulated with a thicker consistency to give opaque coverage, these underglazes are suitable for printmaking techniques on the clay surface as well as traditional pottery applications.  May be applied to leather hard clay, greenware, or bisque ware.  Cover with appropriate food-safe glaze for functional work, or may be left unglazed, if desired, for decorative use.   If glazing, use of a zinc-free glaze is recommended to retain color such as Speedball’s Earthenware or Stoneware clear glaze, depending on your firing range.

Lead-Free and AP non toxic, conforms to ASTM-D 4236.
